Maryland Business Woman, Carol Coughlin, Receives
Prestigious Certified Exit Planning Advisor Designation
New certification enables local CFO outsourcing company to offer unique
expertise to business owners.
TOWSON, MD – BottomLine Growth Strategies, Inc., a provider of outsourced
CFO advisory services, is proud to announce that CEO and Founder,
Carol Coughlin, has been awarded the Certified Exit Planning Advisor
designation after completing the Exit Planning Institute’s (EPI) intensive
CEPA program.
The CEPA designation was designed for business advisors such as Coughlin
who work closely with owners of privately held companies.
“Exit Planning is an often overlooked, but critical component of any successful
business strategy,” said Coughlin. “This certification means that
BottomLine Growth Strategies, Inc., can now offer expert advisement to
business owners who want to ensure their company’s continued growth and
success upon their retirement or at the sale of their business.”
To receive the CEPA designation, Coughlin completed a rigorous five-day
program that involved approximately 100 hours of pre-course study, 32
hours of classroom instruction and successful completion of a 3.5-hour
proctored examination.
“Many CFO’s offer Exit Planning to their clients, but they likely do not have
the specific training or knowledge required for expertise,” said Coughlin.
“Every service we bring to our clients is based on our real-world experience
and, when necessary or prudent, additional intensive training. We always
go the extra mile to guarantee that the guidance and support we offer is
superior. We see ourselves as partners with our clients and we are highly
vested in their success.”
According to the EPI, Coughlin joins an exclusive group of fewer than 100
business advisors worldwide who have received the CEPA designation.
